1. Our Commitment to Accuracy

ExamKosh aims to provide useful, clear, and accurate educational content for learners preparing through mock tests, practice questions, chapter-wise study, current affairs, exam updates, and other learning resources.

Despite review efforts, errors may occasionally occur. When a genuine issue is identified, ExamKosh aims to review it and make an appropriate correction as reasonably practical.

2. What This Correction Policy Covers

This policy may apply to issues involving:

  • Incorrect answers or answer keys.
  • Incorrect or unclear question wording.
  • Outdated syllabus or examination information.
  • Incorrect dates, eligibility details, fees, or other exam-related facts.
  • Outdated current-affairs information.
  • Broken or incorrect links.
  • Spelling, grammar, formatting, or typographical errors.
  • Incorrect source references or labels.
  • Duplicate or misplaced content.
  • Technical display issues that affect the meaning of content.

3. How to Report an Error

If you believe that content on ExamKosh contains an error, you can send a correction request to: pptiwariji@gmail.com.

For faster review, include as much of the following information as possible:

  • The exact page URL.
  • The question number, title, chapter, topic, or section involved.
  • A clear description of the suspected error.
  • The correction you believe should be made.
  • An official or authoritative source, where available.
  • A screenshot, if the issue is visual or technical.
Quick Tip: Use an email subject such as “Correction Request – O Level M2 Question” or “Correction Request – Exam Update Page”.

4. How We Review Correction Requests

A correction request may be reviewed against the relevant question, explanation, syllabus, official notification, authoritative source, software behavior, or other supporting material depending on the issue.

Not every submitted correction will automatically result in a change. The available evidence, context, and educational purpose of the content may be considered before a correction is made.

5. Priority of Official Sources

For official and time-sensitive information, ExamKosh aims to give greater weight to relevant authoritative sources such as official examination bodies, government websites, universities, institutions, or official notifications.

Important: Users should always verify critical examination, application, eligibility, fee, result, admit card, or recruitment information from the concerned official authority before taking action.

6. Corrections to Questions and Answer Keys

If a practice question has an incorrect answer, ambiguous wording, duplicate options, an outdated fact, or a misleading explanation, it may be reviewed and updated.

Depending on the issue, ExamKosh may:

  • Change the correct option.
  • Rewrite the question for clarity.
  • Improve or replace the explanation.
  • Update one or more options.
  • Move the question to a more appropriate topic.
  • Remove the question if it cannot be corrected reliably.

7. Previous-Year Question Corrections

A question should only be labeled as a previous-year or official question when that description is appropriately supported.

If a question has been incorrectly labeled, the label, source reference, year, or other metadata may be corrected or removed.

Practice questions and previous-year questions are not the same. Original practice material should not be represented as an official past examination question without proper support.

8. Corrections to Exam Updates and Time-Sensitive Content

Exam dates, application deadlines, vacancies, eligibility rules, fees, admit-card information, results, answer keys, and recruitment details can change quickly.

If an official authority revises such information, ExamKosh may update the relevant article, notice, date, source reference, or status.

Older information may also be marked as outdated, archived, superseded, or otherwise clarified where appropriate.

9. Minor Corrections

Minor corrections that do not materially change the meaning of content may be made without a separate correction notice.

Examples include:

  • Spelling corrections.
  • Grammar improvements.
  • Formatting changes.
  • Broken-link fixes.
  • Minor wording improvements.

10. Material Corrections

Where a correction significantly changes a factual claim, answer, exam detail, or other important information, ExamKosh may update the content and, where appropriate, revise the update date or include a clarification.

The exact form of the correction may depend on the type of content and the significance of the issue.

11. Content Removal

In some cases, correction may not be sufficient. Content may be removed or unpublished if it is materially inaccurate, duplicated, obsolete, misleading, unlawfully reproduced, or otherwise unsuitable for continued publication.

12. User-Submitted Evidence

Supporting evidence can help us review a correction request more efficiently. Useful references may include:

  • Official notifications.
  • Official syllabus documents.
  • Government or institutional webpages.
  • Official manuals or documentation.
  • Published examination documents.
  • Clear screenshots showing the issue.

Submission of a source does not automatically mean the requested change will be accepted; the source and context may still need review.

13. Disagreement and Interpretation

Some questions or educational topics may involve interpretation, terminology differences, software-version changes, or differences between official references.

In such cases, ExamKosh may revise the wording, add context, update the explanation, or leave the content unchanged if the existing version remains reasonably supportable.

14. AI-Assisted and Automated Content

ExamKosh may use software, automation, or AI-assisted tools to help draft, organize, classify, translate, or review content.

If an AI-assisted or automated process introduces an error, the content may be corrected in the same manner as other editorial content.

Automation does not replace the need for correction and review.

15. Correction Requests We May Not Act On

A correction request may not result in a change where:

  • The request is unsupported by reliable evidence.
  • The existing content is accurate in its stated context.
  • The issue is a matter of reasonable interpretation rather than factual error.
  • The request seeks promotional, misleading, or irrelevant changes.
  • The request concerns a third-party website outside ExamKosh control.
  • The requested change would make the content less accurate or less clear.

16. Response and Review Time

ExamKosh aims to review correction requests within a reasonable period, but no fixed response or correction time can be guaranteed.

Urgent, high-impact, or clearly verifiable issues may be prioritized over minor formatting or wording requests.

17. Transparency and Editorial Independence

Correction decisions should be based on accuracy, evidence, clarity, and educational usefulness rather than advertising, sponsorship, or promotional influence.

Advertisers and commercial partners should not determine whether an educational answer or factual correction is accepted.

18. Corrections and Search Engines

When a page is corrected, search engines may continue to display an older cached title, description, or snippet for some time.

ExamKosh can update the content on its website, but cannot control exactly when an external search engine refreshes its cached result.

19. Independent Educational Platform

ExamKosh is an independent educational and exam preparation platform.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, ExamKosh is not an official website of NIELIT, any examination board, government department, university, recruitment authority, or public institution.

20. Relationship With Our Editorial Policy

This Correction Policy should be read together with the ExamKosh Editorial Policy, which explains our broader approach to content creation, review, sources, editorial independence, and updates.

21. Changes to This Correction Policy

ExamKosh may update this Correction Policy as the platform, editorial processes, content types, or review procedures change.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
